About Us
Meet the Owner
Hi, I'm Nicole Hile, owner and chief fortune-spreader at Fortune Brews! I'm thrilled you're here and can't wait to share a cup of coffee and a bit of good fortune with you.
Mission Statement
At Fortune Brews, our mission is to create joyful, whimsical moments -one cup at a time. We belive that coffee is more than a beverage- it is a universal language that transcends walks of life and brings people together. Through speciality craft coffee, mystical charm, and genuine community connection. We are commited to serving every guest with warmth, wonder and a little bit of fortune.
Our Inspiration Story
Fortune Brews was born from a lifetime of meaningful moments steeped in the spirit of the Upper Penninsula of Michigan. From childhood adventures in Houghton and Hancock to the memories that carried into adulthood. The U.P shaped the soul of this buisness in ways that are impossible to measure.
Two Places hold a particulary special place in our story: Cyberia Cafe + KB Bonkers Toys + Coffee. -Both were and are uniquely spirited establishments that embodied the eccentric, whimsical, deeply human experience of a great coffee shop. They were the kind of place that made you feel something. Like you never truly left.
Fortune Brews exists to re-create that magic - to be that place for out community. Because coffee brings Joy, and that belongs to everyone.
